We all have the ability to develop mindfulness and learn these practices, which are essential in assisting and supporting us in our journey to wholesomeness and Self-realisation. The more Self-aware we become, the more we will be able to feel at peace with ourself, the more we feel we are living our life fully from the ‘Heart’.
For me, Peaceful Heart Centre resonates with not only the ‘State of Peaceful Abiding’ we can find ourselves in once we come into relationship with the Intrinsic Health that resides at the Heart of all of us, but also the place where we can turn to for understanding and support during challenging times, when we feel lost, or overwhelmed with the difficulties in our life.
Mindfulness Core Process Psychotherapy (CPP)
CPP is an in-depth, holistic, psycho-spiritual therapy that offers an unique blend of Eastern and Western psychology and the Dharmic view. As a humanistic integrative psychotherapy it offers aspects of mindfulness-, somatic -, person centred -, relational-, and transpersonal approaches.
As CPP psychotherapists we work with awareness skilfully and orient towards the Intrinsic Health residing at the Heart of all of us, rather than viewing the client as a pathology. In our dance with duality we acknowledge the difficulties experienced, yet at the same time we leave enough space for the potential of health and wellbeing to unfold and flourish.
Healing in relationship
An essential part of Mindfulness Psychotherapy is the forming of the relationship between the therapist and the client in which relational work can unfold. Most of our psychological wounding happens in relationship with others. In time, we may find ourselves wearing a ‘cloak of many battle scars‘ and inevitable, find ourselves locked out of our Heart.
Considering this, it follows that being held in relationship creates opportunities for healing. Resting in a relational alliance in which we feel safe, held with compassion, met with empathy, seen with wisdom and understood on a deep level, is nurturing and creates the shifts towards wellbeing. Unconditional abiding is one of the aspects of the therapeutics relationship that supports us in our journey of coming back into relation with the Intrinsic Health at our Heart.
To the therapeutic relationship I brings an unique blend of Eastern and Western psychology as well as ancient and modern skills, abreast with twenty years of experience in Counselling. Working creatively and skilfully with awareness, I allow for the deeper difficulties within our psyche to be met and unfold.
I am offering a safe, confidential and compassionate space in which I am happy to work short, long or open term depending on whatever difficulties you wish to bring and explore.
Sometimes we are not sure what troubles us, but its more a feeling of something is ‘not right’, or ‘missing’. Sometimes it is the sense that ‘history is repeating itself’, or we find ourselves ‘going around in circles’.

Special Interest
I have a special interest in neuropathology, and the effects of working with levels of awareness for developing new neuro-pathways. CPP orients around somatic skills for the release of shock energy, and through tritition we may allow our central nervous system to rebalance and come to rest in a state of natural homeostasis.
I welcome with equanimity self referrals, GP referrals and referrals from Clinical Psychologist for short-term (6-12 sessions), long-term, or open-ended work depending on your needs and what you wish to bring.
